As a **Security Professional - Armed Government Site Patrol** in **Atlanta, GA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.
As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves monitoring designated areas, responding to incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining open communication with visitors and staff. What You’ll Do:
+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
+ Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, keeping an alert presence throughout the location.
+ Carry and maintain authorized firearms in accordance with company and location-specific guidelines, demonstrating a commitment to responsible handling at all times.
+ Monitor and report any suspicious activity, potential hazards, or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed, following established protocols for government locations.
+ Prepare and submit clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, daily activities, and any unusual occurrences while on duty.
+ Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by providing information and guidance as needed, representing Allied Universal in a professional manner.
What We’re Looking For:
+ Availability across various days and shifts
+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
+ Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
+ Possess access control and badge experience.
+ Have customer service experience.
+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
