As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a transportation environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure atmosphere for all. This post requires driving, so a valid driver's license is necessary. You will interact with the public, provide excellent customer service, and communicate clearly while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding appropriately during emergencies.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public regarding rules, directions, and other security-related matters as needed.

+ Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.

+ Remain alert to surroundings and potential risks while on patrol, reporting any unusual activity or hazards as required.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
