CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking aWater/Wastewater Structural Engineerto join our Water Team as a technical leader and mentor inWinter Springs, FL; Tampa, FL; Miami, FL; Winter Haven, FL; Blacksburg, VA; or working remotely. This is your opportunity to drive innovation, guide project execution, and make a lasting impact across diverse water, wastewater, and stormwater engineering disciplines.

What You'll Do:

+ Lead the technical execution of complex engineering designs, technical reports, and specifications for water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure

+ Provide expert consultation and resolve highly complex technical issues in various areas of water/wastewater

+ Lead advanced technical projects, collaborating with other engineering departments and project management staff to deliver sustainable solutions

+ Develop and manage discipline work plans aligned with project milestones, ensuring projects are completed within budget and scheduling restraints

+ Guide and mentor junior engineering staff, including providing technical reviews and support

+ Deliver technical development of proposals and external presentations to clients, public, and regulatory agencies

What You Bring:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering required

+ Minimum of 10 years progressive engineering experience required

+ Professional Engineer (PE) license required

+ Expert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply best practices

+ Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)

+ Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws

+ Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Salary Range:

$108,000 - $124,500

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
