Our client, an industry leader in Automotive and industrial systems, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the manufacturing and assembly operations.
**Job Title:** Maintenance Technician 2
**Location:** Warren, MI
**Pay Range:** $22-$24 per hour
Shift: **M-F 7:30am - 3:30pm** (flex start and end times)
What's the Job?
+ Perform repairs and replacements of defective equipment parts using hand and power tools.
+ Conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure machinery and building systems operate efficiently.
+ Inspect drives, motors, belts, and fluid levels, performing maintenance actions as per checklists.
+ Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical components, piping, and machinery.
+ Diagnose machine malfunctions through inspection, operation, and testing of equipment.
What's Needed?
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ 2-4 years of experience in industrial electrical, mechanical systems, or related fields.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting battery systems, mechanical maintenance, and reading technical schematics.
+ Hands-on experience with tools, shop equipment, and electrical components.
+ Computer skills including Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and communication tools like Teams or Slack.
