Our client, a leader in the metal finishing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be an essential part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting the production process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

**Location:** Seneca, SC

**Pay Range:** $45760 - $59900

Shift:1st M-F 7:00-3:30

What's the Job?

+ Visually and dimensionally inspect finished metal parts before and after processing to identify defects such as pinholes, cracks, or uneven finishes.

+ Verify that plated parts meet all specified requirements outlined in work orders, including customer and industry standards like AMS.

+ Conduct adhesion tests, thickness measurements, and solution analysis to ensure quality standards are met.

+ Create and maintain detailed inspection reports, documenting non-conformances and corrective actions taken.

+ Ensure calibration and proper maintenance of testing equipment to guarantee accuracy and reliability.

What's Needed?

+ High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary training, certification, or degree preferred.

+ Experience in metal finishing, manufacturing, or laboratory settings is advantageous.

+ Proficiency with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

+ Ability to interpret inspection data, identify defects, and troubleshoot quality issues.

+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow procedures and maintain detailed records.
