    Job Summary

    The Operations Intern provides assistance on routine problems to the Value Stream Managers. Gains an overall knowledge and technical proficiency in operations with departmental objectives.

    Job Core Responsibilities

    + Assists with current production processes to manufacture products, using applicable methods and procedures

    + Participates in developing and maintaining documentation for processes and procedures

    + Works to gain overall knowledge and proficiencies with operations tasks and processes

    + Responsible for supporting unit initiatives

    + Learns and understands systems and processes within a regulated industry

    + Assists Value Stream Managers and Production Supervisors with managing and execution of daily targets

    + Other responsibilities as assigned

    + Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary

     

    Job Specifications

     

    Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations.

     

    Years Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience

    Skills:

    + Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree at an accredited university

    + Strong word processing and/or data entry skills

    + Effective verbal and written communication skills

    + Demonstrated strong work ethics and ability to drive tasks to completion

    + Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to prioritize with changing situations.

    + Ability to use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems.

    + Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to drive tasks to completion.

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

     

    Competitive Compensation

     

    + Pay Range: $22/hr to $25/hr

    + No benefit plan eligibility

     

    Work Authorization

     

    This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.
