About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced **Senior Salesforce Developer** to join our client’s team on a contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative technology initiatives that directly support impactful programs and digital transformation efforts.

In this role, you’ll lead the design, development, and enhancement of Salesforce applications—helping to shape scalable systems that drive real results. You’ll collaborate with a talented cross-functional team and have the freedom to deliver creative, high-quality solutions that make a difference.

While this position is fully **remote** , **preference will be given to qualified candidates located in Utah** who can attend occasional onsite meetings as needed.

What You’ll Do

+ Architect, design, and develop scalable Salesforce solutions using **Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce** , and related technologies.

+ Partner with **business analysts, administrators, and stakeholders** to translate business needs into technical solutions.

+ Maintain and enhance existing **Salesforce applications, integrations, and data models** .

+ Conduct **code reviews** , troubleshoot issues, and ensure adherence to best practices for **security, performance, and scalability** .

+ Integrate Salesforce with **external systems and APIs** using REST/SOAP.

+ Develop and maintain **technical documentation** , including solution designs and data flow diagrams.

+ Provide **technical leadership and mentorship** , promoting Salesforce best practices and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

Required:

+ 5+ years of **hands-on Salesforce development** experience.

+ Advanced proficiency in **Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, Visualforce** , and Salesforce APIs.

+ Strong knowledge of **Salesforce configuration, declarative tools** , and custom development.

+ Proven experience integrating Salesforce with external systems and third-party applications.

+ Deep understanding of **Salesforce security, object model, and sharing rules** .

+ Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, agile environment.

Preferred:

+ Current Salesforce certifications such as:

+ **Platform Developer I & II**

+ **Administrator**

+ **Application Architect** or **System Architect**

+ Experience working in **public sector or large enterprise environments** .

+ Familiarity with **Agile/Scrum methodologies** and version control tools like Git.

+ **Utah-based candidates** or those able to attend occasional onsite meetings are strongly preferred.
