Our client, a leader in the Health & Wellbeing sector, is seeking a Product Development Scientist to join their team. As a Product Development Scientist, you will be part of the Research & Development department supporting innovative product formulations. The ideal candidate must have food or beverage product development experience which will align successfully with the organization.

**Job Title:** Product Development Scientist

**Location:** Englewood Cliffs, NJ

**Pay Range:** $40 - $50/hr W2

**Contract:** 1 Year (extension possible)

What's the Job?

+ Support formulation design work for innovations to deliver superior, consumer-winning products.

+ Collaborate seamlessly with other R&D functions to ensure timely delivery on assigned projects.

+ Ensure compliance with statutory regulatory and legal requirements for products and processes.

+ Identify and establish appropriate technology for manufacturing products at lab-scale and pilot-scale.

+ Conduct shelf-life studies to establish and enhance the shelf-life of new products.

What's Needed?

+ Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy/Science; Master’s degree preferred.

+ **REQUIRED: 3-5 years of experience in food or beverage product development and/or sweet flavor development**

+ Good understanding of product development principles for consumer-friendly ingestible dosage forms.

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work well with others.

+ Ability to support projects with multiple external parties, including contractors and research partners.
