Schedule: Full-Time – Rotational shifts (days, nights, weekends, holidays)

French Consulting is seeking a Registered Nurse (NICU) to support the U.S. Naval Hospital Guam, providing high-quality care to newborns and families of U.S. military service members stationed overseas.

What You’ll Do
Patient Care & Clinical Excellence
+ Provide comprehensive neonatal intensive care to critically ill and premature infants.
+ Perform and document assessments, administer medications, and implement individualized care plans in coordination with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
+ Maintain proficiency in specialized procedures, equipment, and protocols within the NICU setting.
+ Ensure strict compliance with infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance standards.
Collaboration & Communication
+ Work closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, family-centered care.
+ Educate and support parents in understanding their newborn’s care needs and progress.
+ Participate in patient rounds, shift handovers, and interdisciplinary care planning.
Documentation & Compliance
+ Accurately record all nursing interventions in the electronic health record (EHR).
+ Follow all Department of Defense (DoD) and Joint Commission standards.
+ Maintain active credentials and certifications as required by the contract.
Who You Are

+ Comfortable in high-acuity settings and confident in independent decision-making.
+ Professional, flexible, and committed to supporting military families abroad.
Qualifications
+ Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (any U.S. state or territory)
+ Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a Level III or Level IV NICU within the past three years
+ Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association)
+ Knowledge of NICU equipment, ventilator management, and neonatal pharmacology
+ Ability to obtain base access and complete credentialing requirements
