Description

Billing Central Platform(BCP)' Contract Ingestion Pillar is on a mission to streamline the Contract Ingestion process from AWS Customer deal agreements creation and ingestion through to our billing systems. This will enable our Billing organization to sign contracts/deals with AWS customers faster, compute bills accurately, apply discounts and enhance customer experience overall.

As a member of this fast moving team you will work on deep data technologies, transformative processes and pave the path to Generative AI optimization.

We have a fast-paced environment where we “Work Hard, Have Fun, Make History.” On a typical day, our software development engineers dive deep to root cause a customer issue, release the latest new features, consult with the top engineers at Amazon and discuss radical new approaches to building and operating at scale.

Key job responsibilities

Design, development, testing, deployment of applications, which support Bill Computation process.

Define and optimize data schemas, recommend and explore Generative AI technologies to streamline contract interpretation.

A day in the life

You will help define the system architecture, own and implement specific components and help shape the overall experience. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, architects and other SDE team members to help define the scope of the product.

You will take responsibility for technical problem solving, creatively meeting product objectives and developing best practices. You will demonstrate cross-functional resource interaction to accomplish your goals. You will play a role in defining processes and methods to improve the productivity of the entire team.

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
