Position Summary
To drive scalable growth, unify clinical strategy, and strengthen execution across the Vascular business unit, the Director of Clinical Sales – Vascular (East or West) provides strategic leadership to a team of approximately five Regional Clinical Sales Managers (RCSMs), each overseeing approximately 2–3 Clinical Sales Specialists (CSSs). This role elevates the clinical function, supports field performance, and ensures alignment with evolving business needs—without disrupting the mature and trusted clinical-sales model already in place.
Principal Responsibilities
• Provide national strategic direction for the clinical sales team within the assigned region (East or West).
• Lead, coach, and develop approximately five RCSMs, fostering strong people leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Drive consistent hiring profiles, development frameworks, compliance with Company policies, and performance standards across all regions.
• Partner with Sales Directors, Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), Marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders to align clinical strategy with business priorities.
• Maintain strong collaboration between RSMs and RCSMs, enhancing territory execution and resource allocation.
• Support national product launches, large IDN/system evaluations, and strategic clinical initiatives.
• Ensure clinical consistency and excellence across regions while maintaining BU-specific focus on business objectives.
• Champion a scalable clinical model that supports future growth across both Vascular and TEM business units.
• Represent the clinical function in executive forums and contribute to strategic planning and innovation.
• Oversee budget and resource management for clinical training, travel, and team development.
• Lead regional and national clinical team meetings to share best practices, trends, and performance insights.
Education / Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, life sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of clinical experience in critical care or vascular access.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in clinical sales or medical device industry.
• Proven success in managing multi-regional teams and driving strategic initiatives.
Advanced certifications (e.g., VA-BC, CRNI, CCRN) and professional affiliations (e.g., AVA, AACN) preferred.

• Ability to travel domestically (>60%) and work in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $200-242,000; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Commissions will also vary depending on individual performance. The total compensation package for this position will also include benefits such as medical, prescription drug, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, participation in 401(k) savings plan, and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO, short- and long-term disability and parental leave, dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
