             Adecco is hiring immediately for Production Supervisors at our client site in Memphis,TN. As the 2nd Shift Production Supervisor, you will lead the Machine Support team to ensure production targets are achieved, quality standards are maintained, and continuous improvement initiatives are executed. Your leadership will directly influence safety, efficiency, and team engagement across the shift. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Operations Management + Supervise and guide the Machine Support team during second shift operations. + Champion a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production schedules and resolve issues. Talent Acquisition & Retention + Lead hiring and onboarding for Process Engineers, Industrial Techs, WAVE Techs, and Machine Support Techs. + Partner with recruiters to define role requirements and support interview processes. + Monitor turnover trends and implement retention strategies to maintain workforce stability. Team Development & Training + Evaluate team capabilities and identify development opportunities. + Design and validate training programs to ensure technical proficiency and compliance. + Mentor team members to drive performance and customer satisfaction. + Develop succession plans for key machine shop roles. Performance & Continuous Improvement + Set clear, measurable goals for individuals and teams. + Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance reviews. + Lead improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and productivity. + Coordinate large-scale operations and ensure alignment with business objectives. Communication & Collaboration + Foster open, transparent communication across shifts and departments. + Tailor communication style to audience and business context. + Deliver timely and professional updates to stakeholders. Technical Oversight + Manage preventive maintenance and equipment support programs. + Oversee equipment installations, upgrades, and repairs. + Maintain accurate records and reports for compliance and analysis. + Drive process improvements and collaborate with Advanced Engineering for technical support. Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred. + Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance or production management. + Hands-on experience with SMT and Thru-hole equipment. + Familiarity with SPC, DFM, DFT, Demand Flow Technology, and DOE. + Strong understanding of surface mount and final assembly engineering disciplines. Skills & Competencies + Proficient in SAP and ETQ systems. + Strong analytical and reporting capabilities. + Expertise in lean manufacturing and logistics strategy. + Proven success in change management and cost reduction initiatives. + Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. **Pay Details:** $31.25 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
