Key responsibilities
Assisting the CNC operator with materials handling and picking and packing
+ **Machine operation:** Operate and monitor computerized numerical control (CNC) machines to cut, drill, and shape materials.
+ **Setup and calibration:** Prepare machines for production by loading raw materials and performing calibration procedures.
+ **Quality control:** Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards using precision measuring tools.
+ **Maintenance:** Perform routine cleaning and light maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
+ **Technical interpretation:** Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to set up and run the machines correctly.
+ **Programming:** Program the machines using geometric code (G-code) or by using manufacturing software.
Required skills and qualities
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills, Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints, Close attention to detail, Strong math and communication skills, and Physical ability to handle materials and equipment.
Pay Rate $18-$24/hour DOE
Shift: 4- 10 hour shift (both day and night positions)
**Pay Details:** $18.00 to $24.00 per hour
