Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring for a REMOTE Medical Biller position. Apply today if you meet the qualifications listed below.
Duration: 6 month contract
Pay rate $23/hour
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Prepare and submit and/or re-submit claims to insurance payers, Medicare, Medicare Managed Care, Medicaid, Medicaid Managed Care, and other third-party payers
+ Research claim rejections and make corrections, take corrective actions, and refer claims to the appropriate people or departments to ensure timely and accurate claim resolution
+ Root cause identification and tracking of claim rejection trends by payer, service area, and or services billed.
+ Collaborate with both internal and external departments to verify and validate billing information and coding changes
+ Effectively and accurately document your claim research, resolution activity, and next steps
+ Always Maintain Compliance and HIPAA standards
+ Meet or exceed daily production standards by maintaining work list according to metrics
+ Meet or exceed daily quality standards
+ Perform other duties and functions as assigned
+ Evaluate and respond to all emails request for billing to resolve in a timely matter
Required Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma / GED
+ 3+ year of experience in healthcare accounts receivable billing
+ 3+ year of experience working with multiple payors, including Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance providers
+ 3+ year of experience in billing, specifically within a hospital/facility setting (outpatient & in-patient)
+ Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel & Outlook) - ability to create, edit, save and send documents, spreadsheet and correspondence
+ Ability to work an eight-hour shift between 07:00AM - 04:30PM EST, Monday - Friday
+ Must be 18 years or older
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with Healthcare/Medical/Pharmacy terminology
+ EPIC HB experience

+ Ability to navigate on internet for research purposes
+ Demonstrated problem solving, organization and interpersonal skills
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

**Pay Details:** $23.00 per hour
