_Seeking a meticulous histotechnologist for a critical role_
Now Hiring: Travel Histotechnologist – Atlanta, GA
Schedule: 13 Weeks | Night shift, 11p – 730a | Must work 2 major and 1 minor holiday
_IMPORTANT: Must reside 50 or more miles from zip code 30342_
Key Responsibilities:
+ Position supports services which include Pathology, Cytology, and Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
+ Responsibilities include receiving specimens from surgery, accessioning specimen into Cerner, and collection of blocks from PA staff
+ Carries out all aspects of histology slide preparation, including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining
Qualifications:
+ Successful completion of a formal histology technologist training program, or an associate’s degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences
+ Current AHA BLS is required
+ Minimum of 2 years of experience within specialty (Pathology Laboratory) Required
Pay Breakdown:
+ $720 per week (taxable)
+ $812 weekly per diem (non-taxable)
**Pay Details:** $1,532.00 per week
