    **Job Title:** Floating Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Tampa Area

    **Location:** Tampa, FL (Includes Tampa, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas counties)

    **Job Type:** Full-Time

    Overview:

    We’re seeking a compassionate and adaptable **Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)** to join our dynamic team in the Tampa area. This floating role allows you to make a meaningful impact across multiple locations, supporting providers and ensuring exceptional patient care in every interaction.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Greet and prepare patients for exams and treatments

    + Collect vitals, perform clinical intake, and document accurately in real-time

    + Assist providers during exams and minor procedures

    + Administer medications as ordered by the provider (if certified)

    + Perform administrative duties including insurance verification, copay collection, and scheduling

    + Ensure patient safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance (OSHA, AHMG policies)

    + Travel to nearby satellite offices as needed

    + Support the mission and values of the organization in every interaction

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Graduate of a CAAHEP or ABHES-accredited Medical Assistant program

    + Current Medical Assistant certification from one of the following: AAMA, AMCA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, or NHA

    + Current CPR certification

    + Strong communication, multitasking, and EMR documentation skills

    + Ability to remain calm, professional, and efficient in a fast-paced clinical setting
