    Position Summary:

    Adecco Staffing is hiring a skilled and motivated Chef to lead culinary operations at a remote mining camp. This role is ideal for a culinary professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality meals. The Chef will oversee food preparation, menu development, kitchen staff, and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Prepare and serve fresh, seasonal, and safe meals for camp personnel

    + Develop and adapt menus based on guest preferences and market trends

    + Maintain high standards in food quality, presentation, and service

    + Manage food inventory, costs, and budgets efficiently

    + Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure consistent performance

    + Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including HACCP

    + Conduct regular safety meetings and maintain a positive work environment

    + Support operational goals through culinary expertise and leadership

    Qualifications:

    + OSHA 10 Certification (Required)

    + Manager’s Food Handler Certification (Required)

    + Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and food ordering systems

    + Experience with budgeting, menu costing, and inventory control

    + Ability to work independently and manage a team in a remote setting

    + Fluent in English (verbal and written)

    Additional Skills:

    + Knowledge of food safety standards and documentation (WHMIS, PPE, HACCP)

    + Ability to create recipes, training materials, and themed menus

    + Skilled in conflict resolution and team development

    **Pay Details:** $30.50 per hour
