    Job Title: Therapist (or an Intern)

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our team. You will play a crucial role in guiding clients through their recovery journey, helping them build a healthier future, and working alongside a collaborative team that values empathy, professionalism, and personal growth.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment and discharge plans.

    + Facilitate group therapy, educational workshops, and daily individual sessions.

    + Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system (KIPU).

    + Educate and support families in the recovery process.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficient in clinical assessment, treatment plans, counseling, concurrent review, and documentation review.

    + Strong knowledge of mental health treatment approaches without requiring a background in substance abuse.

    + Understanding and application of trauma-informed care.

    + Proficient in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.

    + Ability to complete progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries accurately and timely.

    + Empathy, professionalism, and a non-judgmental attitude.

    + Self-motivation and flexibility to adapt to changing client needs.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.

    + Experience in mental health settings.

    + Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

    + EMR proficiency, KIPU experience is a plus.

    Work Environment

    Frequent contact with clients in recovery, clinical staff, and external service providers. Daily use of electronic medical records (KIPU), email, and other digital tools. Supportive, team-oriented, and mission-driven environment with a focus on trauma-informed care.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Osawatomie, Kansas.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $65000.00/yr.

     

    PTO, sick leave, holiday pay, and health benefits

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Osawatomie,KS.
