Job Title: Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in substation or transmission line projects. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively under stress. Candidates must have an understanding of P6 or MS Project and a solid grasp of financials. The position offers flexibility with remote work, but requires travel one week per month for on-site coordination. We are looking for individuals committed to long-term growth within our company.

Responsibilities

+ Manage project scope, schedule, and budget.

+ Oversee engineering design, land acquisition, construction, and overall project administration.

+ Present project updates to high-level executives and prepare comprehensive slide decks.

+ Manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs).

+ Coordinate project activities to ensure compliance with design and construction standards.

+ Lead multidisciplinary teams of five to ten people across multiple projects.

Essential Skills

+ Project management experience, particularly in high voltage transmission and distribution.

+ Expertise in construction management.

+ Experience managing Requests for Information (RFI) and Change Orders.

+ Strong presentation and communication skills.

+ Ability to develop and implement comprehensive execution plans.

+ Experience in managing project budgets ranging from $500,000 to $10,000,000.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Excellent communication skills.

+ Understanding of P6 or MS Project.

+ Familiarity with financial management related to project execution.

Work Environment

This role involves a mix of remote, office, and on-site work, with expected travel one week per month. The position includes 16 days of PTO, a 2% 401k match, and 8.5 days of holiday pay.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $85.00/hr.
