Job Title: Printer OperatorJob Description
Join our team as a Printer Operator where you will play a crucial role in product assurance by performing paper feed tests and operating prototype development products. Your role will involve handling various testing areas, including paper feed reliability, print/copy quality, and the robustness of printer products.
Responsibilities
+ Operate prototype development products for test purposes.
+ Load paper and remove copies from printers.
+ Document and clear problems encountered during operations.
+ Enter data into the PC for test records.
+ Provide input to test engineers on product performance.
+ Conduct testing in areas such as paper feed reliability, print/copy quality, and printer robustness.
+ Test competitive printer products and subsystems.
+ Review outputs for defects.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in reliability testing.
+ Ability to perform repetitive motions and heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds).
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Attention to detail and product performance monitoring.
+ Ability to operate inserter machines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to lift large paper boxes.
+ Good attendance and reliability.
+ Experience with jobs requiring standing for long shifts.
+ Fundamental computer knowledge, including using a mouse.
+ Longevity in employment history.
Work Environment
The role is based in a controlled, clean lab environment. You will be working the 1st shift from Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. This is a Contract position based out of Lexington, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.42 - $15.42/hr.
