As a Mechanical Engineer, you will engineer, analyze, and design pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and components, supported by calculations in accordance with customer specifications, industry codes, and sound engineering practices. Your role will involve acting as a liaison with outside A&E firms for local seismic information and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local codes.
Responsibilities
+ Design and analyze pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, and components with supporting calculations.
+ Act as a liaison with outside A&E firms to gather local seismic information and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local codes.
+ Serve as an internal technical expert for compliance with specific engineering standards in equipment design and manufacturing.
+ Oversee the preparation of detailed customer and fabrication drawings, ensuring adherence to applicable codes and customer specifications, while optimizing plant fabrication techniques for cost and quality.
+ Manage subcontracts for PE review/stamp and relevant certifications.
+ Resolve technical issues to maintain strong customer relationships.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in mechanical engineering principles and practices.
+ Strong knowledge of engineering standards and compliance requirements.
+ Experience in tank design and engineering calculations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Expertise in tank engineering and design.
+ Capability to manage customer relationships and technical issues effectively.
Work Environment
Work under the direction of an experienced manager with a ten-year tenure at the company, who has been in a managerial role for two years. The company offers the benefits of a smaller family-run business backed by corporate resources.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Stratford, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
