    Job Title: Looper - Electrical Engineer - Project Engineer

    Job Description

    The primary role of an Electrical Engineer in this position is to design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for various commercial, industrial, military, or scientific uses. This role requires proficiency in creating engineering drawings and interpreting blueprints.

    Responsibilities

    + Design, develop, and test the manufacture of electrical equipment, including machinery controls, wiring, and lighting.

    + Evaluate the cost-effectiveness, reliability, and safety of design models.

    + Estimate time and costs to complete projects.

    + Simulate and test the operation of machines, structures, or systems.

    + Investigate and test products from vendors and competitors.

    Essential Skills

    + Creativity, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.

    + Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    + Team player with attention to detail.

    + Basic leadership and mentoring skills to provide support and constructive performance feedback.

    + Capability to make sketches, engineering drawings, and common computations.

    + Ability to perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards.

    + Competence in applying principles of electrical theory to engineering projects.

    + Proficiency in computer applications and design software related to the engineering field.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering required.

    + 5-7 years of experience in system design, electrical systems, wire harness design, and electrical engineering.

    + Proficiency in AutoCAD and schematic reading.

    + Proficiency in Creo for 3D modeling and routing wire harnesses.

    + Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and drawings.

    + Strong communication and collaboration skills.

    + Experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

    + Familiarity with Teamcenter experience.

    + Experience with fluid lines, ideally within relevant systems.

    + Background in the off-road equipment industry.

    + Experience supporting cost roll-ups, design reviews, or creating PowerPoint presentations.

    Work Environment

    The work environment may involve using advanced technologies and equipment. The role requires proficiency in various software applications, and the candidate should be prepared to work in a collaborative team setting. The position may involve handling complex projects and requires a detail-oriented approach to design and problem-solving tasks.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
