Job Title: Embedded Systems Engineer - Performance & Power OptimizationJob Description

We are a design house with a team of 600 talented engineers. Our main office is located in Lund, Southern Sweden, with additional offices in San Jose, San Diego, and Seattle. We focus on in-house projects related to connected products within consumer electronics and IoT devices. Responsibilities

+ Perform in-depth analysis and tuning of Linux/Android system software for performance and power optimization.

+ Contribute to the early bring-up of new silicon and development boards.

+ Conduct hands-on testing of various use cases on development boards, measuring power consumption and performance metrics.

+ Analyze collected data to identify performance bottlenecks and power inefficiencies.

+ Design and execute experiments for architectural analysis.

+ Collaborate closely with the software development team to implement and validate power optimization solutions.

Essential Skills

+ 3-5+ years in system software engineering focused on performance and power optimization for Linux and Android embedded systems.

+ Experience with Android OS.

+ Proficiency in CPU governor tuning, battery usage optimization, and software stack profiling.

+ Experience in bringing up new boards and silicon bring-up phases.

+ Understanding of SoC architecture, including frequency scaling and power rails.

+ Proficiency in C++ and Python.

+ Ability to conduct detailed hands-on testing, data collection, and in-depth analysis of results.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 5+ years of relevant experience.

+ Ability to tune system parameters and perform architectural experiments.

+ Experience in reviewing schematics.

+ Familiarity with camera/audio/graphics Android SW stack.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $137000.00 - $190000.00/yr.
