Join a dynamic team where you will execute drawing updates based on redlines and manage release workflows. You will perform CAD modeling of mechanical assemblies, including components such as engine parts and tube routing for launch vehicles. Your role will involve creating and releasing detailed manufacturing drawings and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability. You will rapidly iterate on designs, incorporating feedback and resolving issues through hands-on problem-solving.
Responsibilities
+ Execute drawing updates based on redlines and manage release workflows.
+ Perform CAD modeling of mechanical assemblies, including engine parts and tube routing.
+ Create and release detailed manufacturing drawings.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.
+ Rapidly iterate on designs, incorporating feedback and resolving issues through hands-on problem solving.
Essential Skills
+ 5-10 years of mechanical engineering experience.
+ Proficiency with AutoCAD or SolidWorks, with NX preferred.
+ Experience in aerospace, maritime, automotive, avionics, or oil and gas industries.
+ Ability to design complex products with space and mass constraints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Candidates with hobbies outside of work such as fixing, building, or figuring out how things work are preferred.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Park, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
