    Description

    Robert Half is partnering with a Haverhill, MA client to hire an Electronics Test Technician to support hands-on inspection, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement for computer processors and related components. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented technician who’s comfortable with ESD protocols, test software, and meticulous recordkeeping.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Keep the test area and workstation clean, organized, and audit ready.

    + Log daily activity for every unit tested, capturing pass/fail results and the reason for any failures.

    + Confirm the correct testing platform is used for each processor.

    + Separate and track passed and failed units; record failure codes, procurement source, and buyer.

    + Record quantities and types of tested products and update company records accordingly.

    + Maintain up-to-date documentation for product specifications and testing platforms.

    + Segregate inventory both physically and in internal systems to ensure coverage and streamlined workflow.

    + Drive continuous improvement in inspection and testing processes and share best practices with the team.

    + Compile and present monthly testing reports.

    Requirements

    1–years in electronics testing, hardware QA, or similar environment (or equivalent hands-on experience).

     

    Familiarity with ESD controls, anti-static best practices, and safe handling of electronic components.

     

    Experience with test software installation/configuration and common test platforms/fixtures.

     

    Strong documentation and data-entry skills; comfortable with logs, reason codes, and inventory systems.

     

    Ability to read basic technical specs and research manufacturer documentation.

     

    High attention to detail, organization, and continuous improvement mindset.

     

    Ability to lift/move components as needed and stand at benches for portions of the shift
