Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Oakland, California. This is a long-term contract position ideal for someone with a strong background in administrative support and a passion for organization. The role involves assisting with critical projects and ensuring smooth office operations while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office.
• Answer and direct incoming calls professionally and efficiently.
• Perform data entry tasks with accuracy and maintain up-to-date records and documentation.
• Assist with employee relations and support HR-related activities, including benefits administration.
• Coordinate and manage tasks related to ongoing projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and employees, delivering excellent customer service.
• Organize and maintain files, records, and office supplies to support daily operations.
• Collaborate with team members to address and resolve administrative challenges.
• Support employee relations investigations by preparing documentation and tracking information.
• Provide time-keeping support to managers every payroll pay period with manually entering timecards into Kronos
•Support the HR team with re-defining job descriptions and posting them into various job boards
•HRIS system maintenance support, ideally knowledge of UKG
• Contribute to creating a positive and productive work environment through proactive involvement in administrative tasks.
Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or office support role.
• Proficiency in handling inbound calls and delivering attentive customer service.
• Strong skills in data entry and maintaining detailed, accurate records.
• Familiarity with benefits administration and employee relations processes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
• High level of organization and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using office software and tools, including word processing and spreadsheets. TalentMatch®
