• Restoration Technician

    Aerotek (Mount Airy, MD)


    Aerotek's client is looking for a Restoration Technician to join their team in the Mount Airy, MD area

     

    You will be instrumental in restoring damaged spaces to their original state. You will be responsible for performing cleaning duties, handling warehouse contents, and ensuring timely task completion.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform heavy cleaning duties to restore damaged spaces.

    + Assist in handling and manipulating contents in a warehouse environment.

    + Drive, load, and unload trucks while organizing inventory efficiently.

    + Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks to meet project deadlines.

    + Provide exceptional service to customers.

    Essential Skills

    + 1-2+ years of experience in restoration, mitigation, carpentry, and drywall.

    + Proficiency in mold remediation, water mitigation, and asbestos abatement.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Effective coordination and teamwork skills.

    + Proficiency in carpentry and demolition using various hand tools.

    + Ability to operate and handle specialized industry equipment.

    + Proficiency in using a smartphone for work-related tasks.

    + Physical fitness and ability to lift at least 75 pounds.

    + Prioritize safety and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.

    + Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, solve problems, and remain calm under pressure.

    + Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation schedule for emergencies.

    + Ability to safely drive work vans and box trucks.

    Work Environment

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
