    Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Food Processing

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Maintenance Technician in a dynamic food manufacturing environment, specializing in non-dairy based butters and cheeses. You will work within a fast-paced setting, utilizing your expertise in food production equipment and maintenance.

     

    $30-$35/hr. 2AM-10:30AM M-F. Must have experience working in a food manufacturing environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform maintenance and repair on food production equipment including pumps, motors, and conveyors.

    + Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs involving electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

    + Utilize TIG welding skills to maintain and repair equipment.

    + Ensure compliance with GMP standards within the facility.

    + Work with PLC control systems to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 1 year of experience in food manufacturing.

    + Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

    + Experience with PLC control, TIG welding, and conveyor maintenance.

    + Ability to perform preventive maintenance and equipment repair.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with pumps, gearboxes, and motors.

    + Familiarity with GMP environments.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a cold food processing environment focused on dairy-type products, excluding meats. The position requires working from 2AM to 10:30AM or Noon, depending on the day, with the possibility of schedule adjustments as the team grows.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Nebraska City, Nebraska.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
