Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, and boiler systems within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The role involves executing capital projects, including installation and dismantling of equipment, as well as performing various maintenance tasks throughout the facility.
Responsibilities
+ Reassemble machines after completing repair or maintenance work.
+ Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and detect problems.
+ Inspect or test damaged machine parts, mark defective areas, or advise supervisors of repairs.
+ Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines and parts according to specific procedures.
+ Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments according to production specifications.
+ Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair using appropriate tools.
+ Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information.
+ Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance.
+ Set up and operate machines, adjusting controls to regulate operations.
+ Transport machine parts, tools, equipment, and materials between work areas using cranes, hoists, or dollies.
+ Collect and discard worn machine parts and other refuse to maintain machinery and work areas.
+ Clean machines and machine parts using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with electrical systems, troubleshooting, maintenance repair, pneumatics, and preventive maintenance.
+ Familiarity with conveyors connected to PLCs and ability to troubleshoot PLCs.
+ Knowledge of motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and schematic reading.
+ Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and PLC control.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to use hand and portable tools, gas and arc welder, forklift, pickup truck, testing equipment, tape measure, and computer (shop floor and ERP).
+ Knowledge of measuring gauges such as tape measures.
+ Prior experience operating a forklift.
+ Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
+ Understanding of basic math, reading, and writing skills.
+ Ability to work under pressure in stressful situations.

Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing facility filled with a variety of machinery. The shift schedule is Wednesday to Saturday, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with one of the days being only 4 hours.

This is a Permanent position based out of Tooele, Utah.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $69430.00 - $69430.00/yr.
