Job Title: Warehouse Worker
Job Description
The warehouse worker will play a crucial role in maintaining the hospital's supply chain by pulling orders in the basement to ensure that supplies such as gloves, needles, surgical items, masks, gowns, and other PPE are readily available for doctors, nurses, and techs. Responsibilities include ensuring inventory is fully stocked, replenishing items, and delivering supplies to various hospital departments such as the ER and surgical offices.
Responsibilities
+ Pull orders and stock supplies in the hospital's basement warehouse.
+ Ensure products are fully stocked and replenish them as needed.
+ Deliver supplies to specific hospital areas, including the ER and surgical rooms.
+ Place materials on racks, shelves, and bins according to size, type, and product code.
+ Assist in assembling certain parts when necessary.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with inventory management.
+ Proficiency in using RF scanners.
+ Ability to perform order picking.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Comfortable working in a team environment with 20+ employees.
+ Ability to lift up to 40 lbs throughout the shift.
+ Capable of standing for the entire shift (8+ hours).
+ Proficient in reading and writing in English.
+ Comfortable using a computer for data entry through EPIC.

Work Environment
Work throughout the hospital, primarily in the basement for order picking and on the dock where trucks deliver supplies. Interactions will be with nurses, doctors, techs, and occasionally patients. Must wear a scrub top and appropriate PPE for different hospital areas. Initial training shift is Monday to Friday, 6 am to 2:30 pm, with a transition to a Tuesday to Saturday schedule. Flexibility to work overtime is required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
