Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Santa Monica, California. In this contract position, you will play a key role in managing payment processes, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance within our financial operations. Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices with precision, ensuring accurate coding and adherence to company policies.

• Manage payment methods, including ACH and check runs, while maintaining timely and secure transactions.

• Reconcile discrepancies in invoices and resolve issues with vendors promptly and professionally.

• Maintain organized and accurate records of all accounts payable transactions for auditing purposes.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations and resolve payment-related queries.

• Assist with month-end closing activities by preparing necessary reports and reconciliations.

• Monitor outstanding payments and address overdue accounts to ensure timely resolution.

• Review and update vendor account information to maintain accurate records.

• Implement improvements to accounts payable processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Requirements • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or related financial roles.

• Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Plaisne or similar platforms.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of transactions accurately.

• Familiarity with coding invoices and managing automated payment processes.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with vendors and internal teams.

• Knowledge of ACH and check run processes is highly desirable.
