    Pay: 20 - 21

     

    Shift: M - F 6am - 2:30pm

    Job Description

    The Production Technician I - HPLC is responsible for the manufacturing of various HPLC columns, requiring excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail. This position is 100% onsite, with a flexible first shift from Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm.

    Responsibilities

    + Pack different sorbents in column hardware using HPLC, Gemini, Heat, and Semi-prep techniques.

    + Follow written instructions and standard operating procedures for all critical processes.

    + Adhere to all safety procedures, including wearing appropriate protective equipment.

    + Prepare packing solvents and slurry solvents following written instructions.

    + Perform material verification and inspection.

    + Enter data in TSA and AX computer systems.

    + Efficiently schedule time to complete work production cards in order of priority.

    + Maintain cleanliness and organization of all work areas, equipment, and tools.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production environments, with 2 to 3 years preferred but flexible.

    + Attention to detail and ability to ensure all work is accurate and free of errors/defects.

    + Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

    + Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and assign resources effectively.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Associates Degree or other relevant certification preferred.

    + Experience with quality control, visual inspection, and data entry.

    Work Environment

     

    Work is performed indoors in an office, laboratory, or warehouse setting, with wet/humid and dry/arid conditions. The noise level is typically low to moderate, with higher levels possible in laboratory or warehouse settings. The position may require occasional travel or overtime. Physical demands include the ability to stand, walk, sit, and lift/move up to 25 pounds. Personal protective equipment is required to prevent exposure to hazards.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
