    Job Title: Assembler

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team dedicated to the assembly and packaging of high-quality products. You will engage in tasks that require precision and attention to detail, utilizing hand tools and following technical drawings and work instructions.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble and package various products using hand tools.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly.

    + Operate small drills, hammers, and rivet machines for packaging.

    + Count and manage inventory effectively.

    + Tape boxes and lift items ranging from 7 to 40 lbs.

    + Add foam to cases designed for storing valuable equipment like cameras.

    + Work on the flashlight assembly line, assembling mid-size flashlights.

    + Train on using pallet jacks and automated shrink wrap machines.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production, light industry, or mechanical assembly.

    + Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

    + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work orders.

    + Capability to lift items up to 40 lbs.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in manufacturing or distribution is preferred.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a clean environment focused on assembling various sizes of heavy-duty cases for lighting accessories and cameras. Safety equipment such as glasses, gloves, and an orange vest are provided. Employees must supply their own steel-toed boots. The role includes working in a setting that values safety and precision in assembly operations.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrance, California.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.75/hr.
