Join us as an **Electrical System Architect** on our **Engineering Technologist** Team in **Austin, Texas** to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact **.** You will: + Create best in class electrical architecture for specialty mobile platforms + Architect and influence future mobile product design by providing technical expertise and engineering leadership; strong focus on the front-end design cycle + Collaborate with technology providers to identify and scope new technology innovation opportunities. Here’s what we are looking for with this role: Essential Requirements + BS in Electrical Engineering and 4-6 years of experience + Strong aptitude to assess and optimize products by making the proper feature tradeoffs between mechanical, electrical, power, thermal, firmware, and BIOS + Experience with ECAD and electrical simulation tools (Cadence OrCAD/Allegro/Sigrity/Power SI/Power DC, Mentor HyperLynx), ability to create basic schematics, PCB floor planning and layouts, production schematic proposals, and convey ideas through ECAD + Driven self-motivated individual that is willing to solve complex problems + Must possess strong communication and soft skills, both verbal and written; high degree of efficacy to navigate and relate to multiple audience levels Desirable Requirements + MS Electrical Engineering + 6-8 yearsElectronics Designexperience Compensation Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
