Job Title: Pipefitter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter for our facility located in Minerva, OH. The position offers shifts on the 2nd (3pm-11pm) or 3rd (11pm-7am), with competitive hourly rates ranging from $26 to $33. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for creating, assembling, and maintaining pipe systems according to specifications and blueprints.

Responsibilities

+ Cut, thread, or hammer pipes to specifications using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders, or pipe benders.

+ Lay out full-scale drawings of pipe systems, supports, or related equipment according to blueprints.

+ Inspect, examine, or test installed systems or pipelines using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods.

+ Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications.

+ Attach pipes to walls, structures, or fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools, or welding equipment.

+ Modify, clean, or maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, or related machines or equipment using hand and power tools.

+ Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and more.

+ Keep records of work assignments.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in welding and pipefitting.

+ Experience with blueprint reading and interpretation.

+ Ability to perform pipe threading and installation.

+ Strong fitting and journeyman skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in a union environment is a plus.

+ Familiarity with larger facility operations.

+ Willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shifts with the opportunity for overtime.

Work Environment

This position is within a large unionized facility that operates in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The work schedule includes 2nd and 3rd shifts with the possibility of unlimited overtime. Employees receive a 20-minute paid lunch and 1-3 paid 10-minute breaks. The facility is part of a larger, globally recognized corporation known for its innovative and high-tech manufacturing processes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $69389.00/yr.
