Job Title: Production Planner
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Planner to efficiently plan and schedule production workflows to meet customer demand while optimizing resource allocations. The role requires collaboration with various departments to set priorities, review inventory levels, and manage materials to prevent shortages and meet shipping requirements. You will coordinate the availability of materials and equipment to schedule production across both shifts and monitor processes to ensure proper coverage.
Responsibilities
+ Plan and schedule production workflow to meet customer demand while optimizing resource allocations.
+ Collaborate with all departments to set priorities, review inventory levels, and manage material to prevent shortages and meet shipping requirements.
+ Coordinate the availability of materials and equipment to schedule production across both shifts and monitor the process to ensure proper coverage.
+ Monitor incoming orders, supply chain disruptions, market changes, and inventory levels to minimize the impact on production.
+ Partner with Sales regarding shortages, changes to lead times, and 'hot orders' feasibility. Determine appropriate action to meet customer needs with minimal disruption to the production schedule.
+ Identify potential problems and disruptions, resolve issues, and develop recovery plans.
+ Monitor production costs and identify opportunities to improve.
+ Adjust production schedule as needed due to increase or decrease in bookings.
+ Work closely with the Production Scheduler to create and publish work orders.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $42.00/hr.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
