Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator with 1-2 years of experience in machine operation or production. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical and technical aptitude, along with entry-level computer skills. You will be required to meet all qualifications for a Machine Gluer Operator and have the ability to set up and troubleshoot glue systems such as Mactron, Alpina, and Pafra. Experience in feeder/inspector roles is preferred, and mechanical experience such as automotive or small engine repair is beneficial.
Responsibilities
+ Operate and maintain machinery and production equipment.
+ Set up and troubleshoot glue systems including Mactron, Alpina, and Pafra.
+ Use tools such as finishing machines, allen wrenches, screwdrivers, and related equipment.
+ Utilize SAP, RF Gen, and Ignition systems effectively.
+ Read computer screens and electronic devices to monitor production processes.
+ Handle routine and team lifting tasks up to 50 lbs.
+ Maintain safety standards and adhere to work environment protocols.
Essential Skills
+ 1-2 years of machine operation or production experience.
+ Mechanical and technical aptitude.
+ Entry-level computer skills.
+ Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with feeder/inspector roles preferred.
+ Mechanical experience such as automotive or small engine repair is helpful.
+ Ability to perform awkward and repetitive movements.
+ Capability to work in extreme heat and noise conditions.
Why Work Here?
Employees receive a sign-on bonus of $4,000, paid in installments of $1,000 every three months during the first year. Once hired permanently, pay increases to at least $19 per hour with a shift differential for night shifts. The company values performance and provides raises even to contractors based on merit.
Work Environment
The work environment requires wearing steel-toed boots, with reimbursement provided upon permanent hire. This is a smoke-free facility, and candidates must adhere to this policy. The workplace offers multiple shifts, including 12-hour rotating shifts and 8-hour shifts, with initial training on the day shift. Hearing protection is mandatory in the finishing area, and candidates must be prepared to work in conditions with heat, humidity, and noise.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
