Job Title: Grinding Machine Operator

Job Description

Join a leading aerospace manufacturer specializing in the production of metal rings that safeguard turbine engines. As a Grinding Machine Operator, you will be instrumental in the precision grinding and movement of large metal parts ranging from 20 to 120 inches in diameter.

Responsibilities

+ Perform grinding on both the inside and outside of metal rings.

+ Operate hand tools and grinding machines to polish and deburr metal parts.

+ Move large parts and load them onto designated areas for further processing.

+ Ensure production quality and adhere to safety standards.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to operate hand tools and grinding machines.

+ Comfortable working with large metal parts and machinery.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ No prior experience is required as training will be provided.

+ Must be comfortable wearing a respirator and be clean shaven.

+ Able to pass export compliance.

Work Environment

Work within an aerospace manufacturing facility with large metal rings and complex machinery. The environment is hot and dirty, with an asphalt odor present. The position offers two shifts: 1st shift from 4am to 12:30pm and 2nd shift from 12pm to 8:30pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.75/hr.
