    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician who is proficient in installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining production equipment. This hands-on role requires expertise in mechanical systems, welding, fabrication, blueprint reading, basic carpentry, and math skills. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide range of heavy industrial equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Install, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment.

    + Perform maintenance on a variety of heavy industrial equipment, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

    + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

    + Conduct electrical troubleshooting and repairs.

    + Engage in welding and fabrication tasks as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician.

    + Proficiency in troubleshooting hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial machinery.

    + Ability to read and interpret manufacturing blueprints and schematics.

    + Experience with electrical troubleshooting.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + General experience with welding and fabrication.

    + Experience as a multi-craft maintenance technician.

    + Basic carpentry skills.

    Work Environment

     

    You will work in a brick plant that is non-climate controlled, requiring manual labor and the ability to consistently lift up to 50 lbs. The environment may be dusty due to the nature of the products being created and involves working with older machinery. This is a union environment.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Iberia, Ohio.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
