Description We are looking for an experienced Buyer to join our team in Holly Springs, North Carolina. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a key role in managing purchasing activities, ensuring efficient supply chain operations, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a collaborative and fast-paced environment while delivering impactful solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Handle purchasing operations, including sourcing materials and negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms.

• Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize inventory levels and ensure timely procurement.

• Utilize Excel tools, such as pivot tables and lookups, to analyze purchasing data and make informed decisions.

• Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure consistent quality and reliability of supplied goods.

• Coordinate with demand planners and sourcing specialists to align purchasing strategies with business goals.

• Evaluate supplier performance, addressing issues and implementing improvements when necessary.

• Prepare and deliver proposals to management, showcasing confidence and thorough analysis.

• Work closely with the distribution facility team to support pick, pack, and ship operations.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all purchasing activities.

• Contribute to a collaborative work environment by sharing insights and driving process improvements. Requirements • Proven experience in buying or procurement, preferably in a distribution or supply chain setting.

• Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and lookups, to manage and analyze data effectively.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas confidently and clearly.

• Solid understanding of contract negotiations and vendor management.

• Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and accounting functions.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to changing priorities.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering solutions.
