    Description

    Lana Funkhouser with Robert Half is partnering with a dynamic and expanding company to hire a Senior Accountant. This is a hybrid role. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Close Activity: Execute and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes including journal entries, vendor invoice review, job costing, payroll, reconciliations, and financial statement analysis

    + Reporting: Prepare balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow reports for internal management and external auditors

    + Mergers and Acquisitions: Integrate acquisitions into the month-end close process as needed

    + Taxes: Coordinate local, state, and federal tax filings with third-party vendors

    + Audit: Serve as a key member of the finance team during annual audits

    + Team Collaboration: Build relationships across finance, operations, and executive teams

    + Projects: Participate in cross-functional financial and operational projects

    + Implementations: Support ERP and financial systems implementations, including credit card and accounts payable systems

    + Financial Analysis and Strategy:Analyze variances between actuals, budget, and prior year results

    + Provide insights on business trends and performance indicators

    + Offer recommendations to improve financial outcomes and influence decisions

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)

    + Minimum of four years of accounting experience, ideally a mix of public and corporate accounting

    + CPA certification preferred

    + Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

    + Experience in construction, restoration, or service-based industries is a plus

    + Multi-location or multi-brand experience

    + Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office

    + Experience with QuickBooks and/or Sage Intacct preferred

    + Proven ability to work independently and remotely, with occasional travel
