    Job Title: Masker

    Job Description

    We are seeking a meticulous individual to work as a masker, tasked with masking aerospace and defense metal parts. The role involves using tape, plugs, and other materials to protect areas from being coated. Small hand tools are frequently used, so experience with smaller parts and a strong attention to detail are essential. Parts vary in size from as small as a quarter to as large as a shipping container. While the majority of the work is independent, collaboration with another masker may occasionally be necessary for larger parts.

    Responsibilities

    + Mask aerospace and defense metal parts using various materials.

    + Utilize small hand tools effectively.

    + Work independently and occasionally collaborate with another masker.

    + Assist with racking of parts as needed.

    + Ensure high attention to detail in all tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience.

    + Experience working with small tools and objects for at least 6 months.

    + Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.

    + Effective communication skills for interaction with employees, customers, and vendors.

    + Self-motivated and able to work without close supervision.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + No more than two jobs in the last three years.

    + Experience in small part assembly, paint prep, and industrial settings is beneficial.

    + Ability to access parts from low and high shelving units using a ladder.

    Work Environment

     

    Enjoy working in a clean, well-lit, and climate-controlled environment. The position is a 1st shift role from Monday to Thursday, 6am-4:30pm, with occasional overtime on Fridays. The work involves regular communication, requiring good hearing and vision capabilities. Employees are provided with two 10-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, Minnesota.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
