    Job Title: Technician - 1st Shift

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to join our team. This role involves troubleshooting and upgrading existing equipment, performing hands-on installation support for production equipment, and implementing machine control knowledge. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the efficiency and functionality of our production systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot and upgrade existing equipment to align with new equipment design and implementation.

    + Perform hands-on installation support for new or modified production equipment.

    + Apply machine control knowledge and understand classical control theory.

    + Operate various electronic test equipment.

    + Create electrical schematic drawings using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.

    + Develop SCADA knowledge, including Ignition and Python.

    Essential Skills

    + High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering preferred.

    + Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience with direct PLC programming required.

    + Experience in PLC Programming.

    + HMI development experience with RSview32, FT View, and C-more panels.

    + Proficiency in hardware design with PLC/VFD wiring diagrams.

    + Experience with Rockwell ControlLogix and MicroLogix.

    + Experience with Koyo PLC programming.

    + Knowledge of industrial network protocols such as Ethernet I/P, Device NET, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP.

    + Motion control knowledge with servo, stepper, DC, and AC drives.

    + Serial communication knowledge with RS232/485.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Hands-on experience with field service and assembly.

    + Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

    + Familiarity with electrical and mechanical installation processes.

    Work Environment

     

    This position operates within a manufacturing environment with a schedule from Sunday through Thursday, 11 PM to 7:30 AM. Employees are required to suit up in production areas to comply with safety and hygiene standards.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a position based out of Belen, New Mexico.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
