Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. This position does not require prior experience, as on-the-job training will be provided. The Service Technician will report to the Area Manager and will be responsible for providing top-notch service to customers.

Responsibilities

+ Perform annual maintenance on boilers, feed/DA tanks, and ancillary equipment.

+ Conduct piping, wiring, and refractory work.

+ Service and install pumps.

+ Upgrade controls and burners.

+ Carry out general repair and maintenance tasks.

+ Maintain safety training requirements, including company and customer safety training.

+ Maintain certifications such as ASOPE, NIULPE, and OSHA.

Essential Skills

+ Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

+ Ability to read, understand, and work from mechanical, wiring, and electrical prints/schematics.

+ Proficiency in using smart devices such as smartphones and tablets.

Work Environment

Work primarily at client sites with local travel, ensuring you are home every night. Take advantage of a clean and well-equipped training facility with air-conditioned classrooms. Work hours are from 7am to 3:30pm, with on-call duties one weekend every three weeks, compensated at double pay. Be prepared for occasional work in confined spaces, such as inside boilers.

This is a Permanent position based out of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
