    Job Title: Assembler

    Job Description

    We are seeking a meticulous Motor Assembler to join our dynamic team in assembling and testing small electric motors. This role is essential in our high-production environment where precision and efficiency are key.

    Responsibilities

    + Assemble and test electric motors using hand and power tools.

    + Follow manufacturing test procedures and suggest continuous improvement ideas for the manufacturing process.

    + Place parts in specified relationships as sub-assembly or final assembly by soldering, clipping, screwing, or fastening parts together following blueprints or schematics.

    + Perform soldering, hand brazing, or induction brazing as required.

    + Rotate to different work stations based on production needs and assist in packing products into individual boxes and placing them on skids.

    + Inspect and gauge finished parts, make tooling adjustments, and handle and move supplies and materials.

    + Verify that outside labels and unit labels match for all packet parts.

    + Clean equipment and work areas, and perform daily and weekly safety checks of equipment.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in electronic and/or mechanical assembly.

    + Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings.

    + Proficiency in machine tool operations and operation of production tooling and fixtures.

    + Familiarity with hand and power tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + J-Standard certification is a huge plus but not required.

    + Soldering skills are a plus but not essential.

    + Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand throughout the shift, bend, twist, and reach.

    + Proficiency in reading, understanding, and speaking English.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a factory setting within an assembly line environment. You will experience the sounds and smells of production equipment running. This role requires adherence to safety practices and procedures.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.76 - $19.76/hr.
