Job Title: Dynamics GP Specialist – On-Site | Mineola NY

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Microsoft Dynamics GP Specialist to support our organization’s ERP transition. This on-site role in Hicksville NY is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys bridging technology with day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

+ Support the transition to Microsoft Dynamics GP, including data migration and user onboarding

+ Train staff on new workflows and provide clear documentation

+ Assist with core GP modules: Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliation, Fixed Assets, Sales and Purchase Order Processing, Vendor and Customer Management

+ Create and customize SmartLists for reporting

+ Provide post-go-live support and troubleshoot user issues

+ Help with data entry, validation, and cleanup

+ Develop and maintain user-friendly procedures and training materials

Qualifications

+ Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, including AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets, and Month-End Close

+ Ability to troubleshoot post-implementation issues

+ Excellent communication and training skills

+ Detail-oriented and proactive

+ Must be available to work fully on-site in Hicksville, NY

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on Dynamics GP

• Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains, specifically in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliation.

• Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures, journal entries, and account reconciliations.

• Experience conducting bank reconciliations and preparing financial reports.

• Detail-oriented approach with excellent problem-solving skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.

• Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.

• Familiarity with compliance requirements and process improvement initiatives.
