    NOTE: This role requires 3 days a week onsite in our Walnut Creek office.

     

    The Associate Project Manager owns project execution within AAA. This Project Managers is focused on scope, time and cost of project delivery. This role develops detailed project plans and manages all processes throughout the project lifecycle including research / analysis, planning, people resources, tracking progress, monitoring change control process, implementation, testing, documentation, training, and on-time delivery. Essential Functions• Deliver critical NCNU projects with focused discipline and planning, on time, on budget to meet business goals• Execute projects using standard NCNU methodology for defining, tracking, communicating and delivering measurable business benefits. Improve methodology and tools over time• Plan, schedule, manage and coordinate all aspects of the project life cycle; analysis, plan, build, test, implement, and training• Identifies and analyzes problems, recommends solutions. Distinguishes between relevant and irrelevant information to make logical decisions• Facilitate project team, communicate early and often. Work with project team to mitigate project risks and balance the business needs versus technical constraints• Has authority to prioritize project tasks based on capacity, due dates & critical path• Effectively identify and resolve any issues throughout project life cycle• Promotes, utilizes, and contributes to knowledge transfer discussions before, during and after project completion• Provide consistent and comprehensive status updates; reporting schedule, cost, scope, work load, and project team performanceKnowledge/Skills/Abilities• Excellent organizational and time management skills (Required)• Adaptable self-starter who is skilled at creating structure in ambiguous environments (Required)• Strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills; ability to recommend solutions (Required)• Outstanding presentation, verbal and written communication skills with audiences of all levels (Required)• Ability to identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns (Preferred)• Basic knowledge of MS Office applications (Required)• Experience with change management strategy based on situational awareness of changes and the groups impacted (Preferred)Education & Experience/Licenses & Certification• Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience• 1-2 years of project experience in a consulting firm / environment. At least 1 year of experience leading full life-cycle projects, consisting of 2 or more people, $50,000 in budget (Required)• 0-3 years if experience identifying resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement corrective actions (Preferred)• 0-3 yrs. of experience training others to use process, organization, change, and/or learning improvement methodologies (Preferred)

     

    We target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $74,788.00 - Mid: $93,483.00- Max: $112,179.00
