The Entry Business & Financial Analyst role supports the business strategy and objectives through data-driven analysis, reporting, and financial planning.
NOTE: This role is Hybrid and requires 3 days a week in our Walnut Creek Corporate office.
RESPONSIBILITIES / JOB DUTIES
+ Data and Financial Analysis: Perform variance analysis and basic analytical activities using financial statements and business reports.
+ Reporting: Maintain, generate, and review period business and financial reports.
+ Data accuracy: Identify and research data variances and errors in existing reports.
+ Plan and Forecast: Update existing models with historical data and incorporate business partner input on expense, headcount and FTE budgets.
+ Business Partner Support: Answer data and budget questions and explain variance analysis to plan, forecast and prior periods of financial statements and operational metrics.
+ Documentation: Regularly update documentation for procedures and processes.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
+ Strong mathematical and analytical capacity.
+ Knowledge of accounting and financial concepts or database concepts.
+ Spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets) and Presentation (PowerPoint Google Slides).
+ Proficient Business Writing.
+ Basic understanding of relational database structures.
+ Understanding of AGILE practices.
EDUCATION, COMPETENCIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
+ Bachelor's degree in related area or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ 0-2 years of experience conducting financial and/or business analysis.
We target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $74,788.00 - Mid: $93,483.00- Max: $112,179.00
