    Overview

     

    Office Location: Delaware, Ohio

     

    Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt, 37.5 hours/week, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with a 30-minute unpaid meal break.

     

    Salary: $19.10 per hour.

     

    Job Focus: This position is responsible for case management services including crisis intervention/emergency lodging, housing search, case plans, financial literacy/budgeting, transportation, employment search/linkage, referral and linkage to community resources. Other duties include completion of client intake and assessment forms, data collection, and HMIS entry.

    Qualifications

    + An understanding of and passion for The Salvation Army’s Mission

    + Licensed social worker preferred

    + Experience working with persons facing housing crisis and/or homelessness preferred

    + Experience working with Veteran population preferred

    + Strong work ethic

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills

    + Able to maintain strict confidentiality

    + At least 21 years old with a valid Ohio Driver’s license and the ability to obtain and maintain driving privileges per Salvation Army insurance standards.
