Business Solutions Architect

About the Role

TEKsystems is seeking a highly skilled Business Solutions Architect to support a key client in the utilities sector. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with deep expertise in ERP/EAM systems, particularly SAP, and a passion for driving business process improvements across Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Work Management functions.

Key Responsibilities

+ Lead solution design efforts to meet business needs and enhance processes with minimal customization.

+ Provide functional and technical expertise in ERP/EAM systems, especially SAP and its cloud solutions.

+ Oversee ERP/EAM system processes, ensuring integration with internal and external systems.

+ Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, propose improvements, and balance cost, risk, and performance.

+ Support testing, documentation, and quality control of system enhancements and upgrades.

+ Ensure compliance with audit standards (e.g., SOX) and coordinate with Corporate Audit.

+ Mentor team members and support program managers in overseeing development and configuration services.

Required Qualifications

Education:

+ Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Experience:

+ 6+ years in ERP/EAM business processes (Finance, HR, MM, WM).

+ 6+ years in SAP-based solution development and security controls.

+ 7+ years in programming/support and systems analysis.

+ Utility industry experience preferred.

Technical Skills:

+ Advanced SAP knowledge (e.g., FICO, MM, PM, PS, SuccessFactors, Fiori).

+ Proficiency in database management, system integration, and application interfacing.

+ Familiarity with SDLC and project lifecycle methodologies.

Soft Skills:

+ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

+ Ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex projects.

+ Commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.

Additional Requirements

+ Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
